Because of the high demand for limited spaces in the college’s programs, it is recommended that applicants submit their application as early as possible. The deadline to apply to the architecture undergraduate program as a first-year student is February 1, 2024, and the school is unable to accept late applications to the program.
UIC offers an Early Action admission deadline of November 1, 2023. Early Action is a nonbinding application process. Applicants get a faster decision and priority consideration for scholarships.
For transfer students, the deadline to apply is April 1, 2024.
More information about the application process is available on the College of Architecture, Design, and the Arts’ website, as well as on UIC’s Admissions page.
Please note that the School of Architecture admits new students only for the fall semester of each academic year. Non-degree seeking students are not accepted into the program.
