For our next installment of Architecture at Chicago Somewhere Else, Ciro Miguel helps us escape the winter with a stroll along Paulista Avenue in São Paulo.
Ciro Miguel is an architect, visual artist, and photographer based in Zurich and São Paulo. He is currently a doctoral fellow at ETH Zurich/gta institute. With Charlotte Malterre-Barthes and Vanessa Grossman, Miguel curated the 12th International Architecture Biennale of São Paulo, entitled Todo dia/Everyday, in Centro Cultural São Paulo and Sesc 24 de Maio (2019). He is a former partner at Angelo Bucci / SPBR arquitetos. At ETH Zurich, he has taught architectural design in the chairs of Angelo Bucci (2013) and Marc Angélil (2014–19).
